On every turn you do one thing: move your pawn one square, or drop a wall.
Drop a wall
A wall blocks two squares and makes their path longer. Walls can't cross, and you can never close off every path.
Reach the far side
The first pawn to touch the other side of the board wins. A wall in the right place can win the game.

Is Wrong Way free?
Yes. The whole game is free and shows no ads. Coins, powers and skins are earned by playing; nothing is sold for real money.
Can I play without internet?
Yes. Levels, the AI and same-device games all work offline. Online matches, playing with friends, online rooms and the leaderboards need a connection.
Do I need an account?
Only for online play and cloud save. You sign in with Google in one tap, and we keep only what the game needs. See the Privacy Policy.
How many people can play?
Two in a duel on the 9 × 9 board, or four on the 11 × 11 board, where everyone races to the golden centre square. Play them online or on one phone.
Which languages does it speak?
English, Русский, فارسی, Türkçe, Français and Español. The app picks your phone's language, and you can change it on the home screen.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Profile → ⚙️ Settings → Account → Delete account. You can also follow the steps on our account deletion page.
Is it on iPhone?
The app is on Android for now. On any other device you can play Wrong Way in your browser.
