1Agreeing to these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Pokyygame ("we", "us") about the game Wrong Way - Quoridor Game ("Wrong Way", "the game"), its online service and this website. By installing or playing Wrong Way you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the game.
2Who can play
The game is for players aged 13 and older. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you and supervise your use of the online features.
3Your licence to play
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to install and play Wrong Way on your own devices, for your own entertainment. You may not sell, rent or redistribute the game, copy or change it, or try to get its source code, except where the law expressly allows it.
4Your account
You can play offline without an account. Online play and cloud save need an account, which you create by signing in with Google. Keep your Google account secure: you are responsible for what is done with your Wrong Way account. One account per person, please, and don't share, sell or trade accounts.
You can delete your account at any time in the app, or by following the steps on our account deletion page.
5Coins, powers and other items
Coins, XP, power charges, limited-edition super powers, skins, pawn designs, ranks and other in-game items are part of the game. They have no money value, can't be exchanged for money or anything outside the game, and can't be transferred to another player. You get a licence to use them in the game, not ownership of them.
We may change how items work, rebalance them, or replace them as the game is updated. Items can be lost if you delete your account, or if you clear the app's data or uninstall it while you are not signed in. Wrong Way doesn't sell anything for real money today; if that ever changes, purchases will go through Google Play and its terms.
6Playing fair
When you play Wrong Way, you agree not to:
- cheat, use bots, scripts, modified apps or bugs to win or to get items;
- insult, harass, threaten or bully other players, or post hateful, sexual or illegal content;
- pretend to be another person, a member of our team or Pokyygame;
- attack, overload or try to break into the game, its server or other players' accounts;
- get around a ban, a mute or any other limit we put on your account.
7Nicknames and chat
You are responsible for your nickname, avatar and the messages you send. They must follow the rules above. You allow us to show them inside the game (for example at the table and on leaderboards) for as long as they are part of your account. We may rename a nickname or remove a message that breaks these terms, without notice.
8Suspension and ending
If you break these terms, we may warn you, mute you, reset your progress or rating, suspend your account, or ban it, depending on how serious the problem is. You may stop playing and delete your account at any time. Sections 5, 10, 12 and 13 continue to apply after the end of this agreement.
9The online service
We work to keep the online features running, but they may sometimes be unavailable, for example during maintenance or when an update is required. We may change, add or remove features, require a newer version of the app to play online, or, with reasonable notice in the app, stop the online service. The offline game keeps working on your phone.
10Our game and other names
The game, its code, art, sounds, texts and the name Wrong Way belong to Pokyygame or our licensors. The game's music is used under CC0 (public domain) licences, credited in the app. Wrong Way is an independent game inspired by classic pawn-and-wall board games. Quoridor is a trademark of Gigamic; Wrong Way is not affiliated with or endorsed by Gigamic.
11Google services
The app is distributed through Google Play and uses Google Sign-In. Your use of those services is also covered by Google's own terms and privacy policy.
12Warranty and liability
Wrong Way is provided free of charge, "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that the game will be uninterrupted or free of errors, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost progress, items or data. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that can't be limited by law, or takes away your rights as a consumer.
13Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over disputes about them. If you live in a country whose consumer laws give you extra protection, such as in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you keep that protection and may bring a claim in your own courts. Before going to court, please write to us so we can try to sort it out.
14Changes
We may update these terms as the game changes. The new version is posted here with a new date, and important changes are also announced in the app. If you keep playing after a change, the new terms apply.
