2Who we are
Wrong Way - Quoridor Game ("Wrong Way", "the app") is a game made by Pokyygame ("we", "us"). This policy covers the Android app (package com.wrongway.quoriderflex) and this website, wrongway.pokyygame.com. We decide how the personal data described here is used. You can reach us at admin@pokyygame.com.
3Playing without an account
Everything except the online features works without an account. The app then keeps your data only in its private storage on your phone: your nickname, your progress (player level, XP, coins, stars, levels, achievements, power charges, daily gift, quests and milestones), your avatar and Pawn Studio design, and your settings. This data is not sent to us. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data removes it.
When your phone is online, the app still asks our server for game news and settings, and for the leaderboards when you open Ranks. These requests include your app language and, like any internet request, your IP address. We don't link them to you; our host's standard server logs keep them for a short time.
4Playing with an account
Online matches, playing with friends, online rooms, your rank and cloud save need an account. You create it by signing in with Google. We then keep:

This data is stored on our game server (api.pokyygame.com), which is hosted by Hostinger. Google Sign-In is provided by Google and covered by Google's Privacy Policy. We only receive the basic profile listed above; we never see your Google password.
5How we use your data
- To run the game you asked for: sign-in, cloud save, matchmaking, online tables, ranks and leaderboards.
- To keep it fair and safe: spotting cheating and abuse, and moderating chat and nicknames.
- To help you when you write to us.
- To fix problems and keep older versions of the app working.
We use your data because it is needed to provide the game (our contract with you), for our legitimate interests in keeping the game secure and fair, and, for notifications, with your permission. We don't use it for advertising, we don't build profiles about you, and we make no automated decisions that have legal effects on you.
6Who can see it
- Other players see your nickname, avatar emoji, level, rating and rank, your place on the leaderboards, and what you play at their table.
- Our team can see account and match data in the game's admin tools, to run and moderate the game.
- Hostinger hosts our server and this website as our service provider. Your data may be stored in a country other than yours.
- Google handles Google Sign-In and distributes the app through Google Play.
- Authorities, only when the law requires us to share data.
We don't sell or rent personal data, and we don't share it for advertising.
7Reminders and permissions
If you allow notifications, the app schedules reminders on your phone (daily gift, new quests, come back and play). They are created on the phone itself: our server doesn't send them and we keep no push token. You can turn them off in the app's Settings or in Android's settings.
The app uses the internet (for online features), notifications (for the optional reminders) and permission to run at start-up (so scheduled reminders survive a restart). It does not ask for your contacts, photos, files, location, camera or microphone.
8This website
wrongway.pokyygame.com uses no cookies, no analytics and no third-party trackers. Its fonts, images and scripts all load from our own server. Like every web server, our host keeps basic request logs (IP address, browser type, page and time) for security and troubleshooting, for a short time. Links to Google Play or to the browser version of the game take you to sites with their own privacy policies.
9Deleting your data
In the app, go to Profile → ⚙️ Settings → Account → Delete account and confirm. This removes your account, cloud save and sign-ins from our server straight away. You can also ask by email; see our account deletion page for the steps and for what is deleted and kept.
Deleting the account doesn't touch the progress stored on your phone. To remove that too, use Settings → Data → Reset progress, or uninstall the app. Copies in our host's backups disappear as old backups are replaced, normally within a few weeks.
10Security
All traffic between the app, this website and our server is encrypted (HTTPS). Your sign-in is kept with a private token on your phone, and access to the server and the admin tools is limited to the game's team. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data, and if a breach affects you we will tell you and the authorities where the law requires.
11Children
Wrong Way is not directed at children under 13, and online accounts are meant for players aged 13 and older. We don't knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, write to us and we will delete it.
12Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the EU or UK GDPR, or India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023), you may have the right to access your data and get a copy of it, to correct it, to delete it, to object to or restrict some uses, and to withdraw your consent. You can change your nickname in the app and delete your account yourself; for anything else, write to admin@pokyygame.com. We reply within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
13Changes
When this policy changes, we post the new version here with a new date. If a change is important, we will also tell you in the app.
